Ferro silicon magnesium nodulizer is an additive to be put into molten iron to spherize the graphite in cast iron.
Introduction:
FeSiMg alloy is a remelting alloy made up of Ferro silicon, Magnesium, Mish metal rare earth, Calcium.
As an additive, it can crystallize the graphite in cast iron into ball shape. Its' main elements are Si, Mg, Re, Ca, etc.
The spheroidal graphite in ductile iron results from spheroidization of molten iron, which makes the strength of the ductile iron much higher than that of gray cast iron and the toughness better than that of malleable cast iron and keeps a series of advantages of grey cast iron at the same time.
